How many guests does The Conservatory accommodate for a wedding ceremony?

The Conservatory accommodates up to 100 seated guests. A small amount of stand-up space is available. Rule of thumb is that 25% of invited guests will not attend the ceremony. If the guest list is many more than 100, one solution is to send two invitations, the second inviting the guest to the reception following a private ceremony.

Are wedding rehearsals provided?

Yes. Advance rehearsals are available at no extra charge on Wednesdays for Full and Half Sessions.

Are dressing rooms available for the bride and groom?

Yes.The bride/groom rooms are open 1 hour prior to a Full Session, and at the beginning of the session hour for Half and Petite Sessions.

What is the schedule for a one hour Half Session or Petite Session?
Access to The Conservatory, bride/groom rooms and garden is available at the beginning of the session hour for wedding party, guests, photographers, florists, etc. The ceremony occurs on the half hour. Photos may take place anytime during the session hour. The choice of a one hour Half or Petite Session is for the couple interested in essential photos only. Due to time constraints of a one hour session, the family will be seated informally before the procession of the wedding party as opposed to a formal escort during the procession; a receiving line will not follow the ceremony. The activities surrounding the ceremony are reduced to allow all to fit within the time frame and to allow for some photo time. All occurs within the session hour.
